Denise has broad executive and consulting experience, including bottom line accountability, ranging across the commercial sector from ASX 100 corporations, small to medium businesses and entrepreneurial startups. She has been managing director of new businesses and held senior executive roles in listed companies in corporate and divisional strategy, pricing and reporting, and business transformation. In these roles she has had responsibilities across restructuring, M&A, investment and outsourcing analysis and business process improvement.
Denise has held senior executive roles at SingTel Optus, contracted to AMP Capital and ACN Pacific and undertaken strategic consulting assignments for AWA Electronics, and Computer Power Limited.
Some of Denise’s achievements in the listed and corporate sector include:
- Co-founding and growing a strategic management consulting business to $0.75 million turnover within 12 months;
- Leading the pricing analysis stream of SingTel Optus’s 2001 strategic review of its $A2.0 billion Mobile Division, and subsequently establishing, growing and leading a new mass market pricing team, resulting in a successful price repositioning;
- Preparing the $6.0 billion business case for Optus’s investment in a 3G Mobile Network, integrating business owner input from across divisions, and taking part in preparation of board papers and presentations, leading to investment approval from the SingTel Board;
- Delivery of multiple financial models and analyses concerning wholesale and resale pricing and profitability, management reporting structures and new product evaluation for a national telecommunications reseller. Assistance with the preparation of presentations for chief executive and board of directors and preparation of financial model operation documentation for future users.
